Albert Pruitt Jr.

Albert (Junior) Pruitt Jr., 89, of London, died Sunday, August 22, 2021, in his residence. Junior was born August 20, 1932 in Garrison, Kentucky, a son of Albert and Rosie (Sparks) Pruitt Sr. He loved to golf and Bowl. He was a retired welder from Parker Sweeper. Junior really enjoyed tinkering, and working on restoring his 1969 Plymouth Satellite Convertible. He is survived by his wife 0f 48 years, Donna Pruitt: daughters: Marie Mock; Kimberly (Ronald) Mullins, all of London; sisters: Mary Burke of Grove City; Shirley Peyton of London; grandchildren: Justin (Tonia) Shunk; Ashley Shunk, all of London; great-granddaughter: Annemarie Shunk; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife: Genevieve (Bonecutter) Pruitt; brothers: Earl Pruitt; James ‘Bud’ Pruitt; sister: Beulah Swyers. According to Junior’s wishes, he will be cremated with services to be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Lynch Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 124 E.
