Bobby Junior Williams

Bobby Junior Williams, 80, of Mt. Gilead, passed away Friday, September 29, 2023. Bobby was born November 15, 1942, in South Solon, Ohio, the son of Hollie and Shirley (Athington) Williams.

Bobby truly enjoyed his profession of driving semi-trucks and drove for as long as he could. He had a great love for racing cars, especially racing his car called “Fast Willie” against his brother. Bobby also liked going to car shows to see old cars.

Bobby is survived by his daughter: Stephanie (David Cooper) Williams; granddaughter: Lynsie Cooper; grandson: Michael Slone; daughter: Makena (Davone Hunt) Williams; stepchildren: Robert (Shelly) Burch, Hayden Beveridge, Skylar Beveridge, Karissa (Hunter) Beveridge, Cynthia Compton, Braxton Williams, Bryceton Williams, and Kendall Kuykendall; step grandchildren: Sophia Chafin, Dean Burch, and Mary Burch.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of almost 38 years Karen (Klever) Williams; siblings: Danny and Hazel; grandson: baby Williams.

Per Bobby’s wishes there will be no services.
