Brenda Kay (Hammons) Dennen

Brenda Kay Dennen, 64, of London, died Saturday, January 20, 2024, in her residence. Brenda was born May 29, 1959, in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of William and Josie Geneva (Sparks) Hammons.

She loved to help the elderly. She liked to play darts, bingo, pool, and fishing. She had a camper at Deer Creek. She loved music and loved to dance. But most of all, she was a “Daddy’s Girl”!

She is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, Gene Truitt Dennen; daughters, Mandy Johnson of Plain City, Brian (Erica) Johnson of St Albans, West Virginia: brother, Lonnie Hammons of London; grandchildren, Gage Sullivan, Jamie (Elijah) Tatman, Kaiden Kimbler, Tyler, J.J., Brian, and Josie. Nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Jack Hammons.

The family invites friends to call at the Lynch Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 124 E. High Street, London, Friday, January 26, 2024, from 11:00am until 1:00pm, with a service to follow, with the Reverend Sharon Baily officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery, London. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
