Carl Raymond Groves

Carl Raymond Groves, 53, of London, died Monday, January 9, 2023, at the London Health and Rehab. Carl was born January 25, 1969, in London, a son of Robert Lee and Patricia Lou (Norris) Groves. Carl graduated from London High School in 1987. He was a member of the American Legion Post 105 and the Eagles Aerie #950, London. He was an avid bowler and had bowled a perfect 300 game. He has had numerous ‘fur babies’ and loved them all. He was very social, with a sharp, witty, sense of humor. Carl is survived by his father, of London; brothers: Robert W. (Jaimee) Groves of Cincinnati; Jerry L. (Deanna) Groves of Hudson, Florida; nephews and niece: Tanner Groves, Brandon Duerler, and Kirsten (Bobbie) Zofchak; uncle: Brian (Edna) Norris of Georgia; numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother; maternal grandparents, Carl and Marilyn Norris; paternal grandparents, Howard and Pauline Groves; aunts and uncles, Jack and Marilynn Groves; Garry Groves, Larry Groves, Brad Norris, and Lana Wirth. Carl’s family invites friends to call at the Lynch Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 124 E. High St, London, Friday, from 4-6 PM. with a service to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Carl’s memory to Equitas Health, 1033 N.
