Charles Eugene Elliott

Charles Eugene Elliott, 83, of London, died Friday, May 14, 2021, in his residence. Charlie was born September 4, 1937, in Columbus, Ohio, the son of Albert Clifford and Evelyn (Baughn) Elliott. He mowed yards around town, towing the lawnmower behind him in a wagon. He enjoyed dancing at the festivals in downtown London. Charlie was loved by his friends and caregivers at CRSI. He had a dog named Wyley that he loved very much. Charlie had retired from Frisch's in 1997 and then worked at MATCO until 2015. He is survived by niece, Koreta (Jack) Johnson of Bloomingburg; nephew: Rhett (Amy) Elliott of London. Charlie has been preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Cecil, Melvin, and James Elliott; sister-in-law: Kay (Potts) Elliott. A graveside service will be held for Charlie, 10:00 AM, Thursday, May 20, 2021, at the Pleasant Cemetery in Mount Sterling.
