Cynthia A. Cribbs (Smith)

Cynthia (Cindy) A. Cribbs (Smith), 81, passed away on November 28, 2021, at the Bluebird Retirement in London, OH.

Born October 24, 1940, she was the daughter of D. Gail and Annette (Ashman) Callander.  She is preceded in death by her parents, and grandson Gaven Smith. She is survived by her children David (Mindy) Smith, Lisa (Mike) Pompura, and Kent (Mary) Smith. Her grandchildren Casey Smith, Ashley Smith, Bridget (Al) Salah, Andy Pompura, Aaron (Michaela) Pompura, Claire Smith, Cate Smith, and six great grandchildren.

She grew up in Upper Arlington, Ohio until her family moved to Springfield, Ohio in 1956. She graduated from Northeastern High School in 1958. Cindy worked in the dental field for 30 plus years, held her Ohio Real Estate License, and was a Scuba Dive Instructor. Her favorite dive trip location by far was Bonaire. Her love for boating and swimming led her family to Lake Choctaw in 1968. In 1994 she moved to Mt. Pleasant, SC to enjoy the warmer weather. In 2001 she moved back to Springfield, Ohio to be closer to family.

She will be missed.

Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, December 11th, from 2-4p, at the Lynch Funeral Home, 124 E. High Street, London, OH 43140
