With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Daniel Mark Foraker, who departed this life on October 31, 2026. Born on August 10, 1955, in Canton, Ohio, Daniel was the cherished son of Robert and Esther (Freudeman) Foraker and a beacon of kindness, intelligence, and compassion to those who knew him.
Daniel was a proud graduate of Canton High School, after which he pursued his passion for engineering at a technical college, becoming a skilled field service imaging engineer. His notable career spanned over 37 years, including 20 years with Toshiba Medical Systems and 17 years with Ohio Health, where he contributed his expertise and dedication in service to others.
Daniel had a remarkable talent for fixing things and was especially drawn to electronics. His hobbies included restoring vintage radios, building an impressive full-size radio tower, and crafting beautiful woodworking projects. With a love for adventure, he cherished vacations to the ocean and took great pride in the home he meticulously constructed alongside his beloved wife, Brenda.
A devoted husband and father, Daniel leaves behind his loving wife, Brenda (Finchum) Foraker, and an extended family that includes his children, Daniel (Gretchen) Foraker, Holly (Brent) Bowman, Brandon (Stephanie) Kelsey, and Krista (Jesse Johnston) Kelsey. He will be fondly remembered by his siblings, Robert Foraker and Sharon (Virgil) Smith, as well as his precious grandchildren, Caroline, Cecelia, Casey, Nayson, Nevan, and Kendrick, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Mary Foraker.
The family invites friends and loved ones to gather in remembrance during a visitation at Lynch Family Funeral Home, located at 124 East High Street, London, Ohio 43140. This heartfelt gathering will take place on Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service, led by Pastor Philip Chapman, will commence promptly at 8:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made in Daniel's memory to Crossroads Church in London, or the Gallbladder Cancer Research Fund, continuing his spirit of generosity and love for others.
