David Scarberry

David Scarberry, 65, of London, died Thursday, September 14, 2023, at the OSU Wexner Medical Center, Columbus. David was born August 12, 1958, in Williamson, West Virginia, the son of Frank Truman and Kathleen Joy (Blackburn) Scarberry. He spent a lot of his time being a wonderful dad and an amazing grandpa. He liked to paint landscapes, playing guitar, fishing, online poker, cleaning his car, and taking Mikala to McDonald’s on Saturday. David is survived by his children, Brad (Michelle) Scarberry; Mitchell (Stephanie) Scarberry, Kevin (Teri) Scarberry, Nick Reel, Sierra (Dave) Himmelman; siblings, Brenda Gibney, Pam (Greg) Fitchpatrick, Judy (Kevin Jerrel) Stevens, Roger (Missy) Scarberry, Richard (Kelly) Scarberry; grandchildren, Mikayla Scarberry, Tucker Sollars, Max Himmelman; Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Randy, Johnny, Freddie Eugene. His family invites friends to call at the Lynch Family Funeral Home, 124 E. High St, London, Tuesday September 19, 2023, from 11:00 am until 1;00 PM, with a funeral service to follow, with the Reverend Dwain Hill officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Cemetery, Alton, Ohio. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, if friends and family could make memorial contributions to the funeral home to help with expenses.
