David Edward Shaw

David Edward Shaw, age 90, of London, Ohio died Thursday, August 28, 2025, in Cedarville, Ohio.

Born in London on March 7, 1935, to Edward R. and Ruth P. (Clark) Shaw. He attended London High School and graduated in 1953. He was married in 1956 to Martha Jane Shaw, and they recently celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary. David worked for his father at the family business, Shaw Plumbing and Heating, before co-owning it with his wife until they both retired in 1992. He then went on to work at Buckeye Ford until 2019.

Survivors include one son Lt. Colonel Todd Edward (U.S. Army Ret.) (Lynda) Shaw, grandson Christopher Wayne Shaw, granddaughter Riley Ruth Shaw, great-granddaughter River Wren

He is preceded in death by his parents and wife.

David was a member of the London First United Methodist Church since 1956. He served in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1959, both state side and in Germany.

David’s family invites friends to call at Lynch Family Funeral Home, 124 East High Street, London, Ohio 43140, on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 9:30am – 10:30am, the funeral, led by Pastor David Leckrone, will begin at 10:30am. The interment will follow at Kirkwood Cemetery.
