David Allen Watkins, Sr.

David Allen Watkins, Sr., 66 of London died Sunday September 1, 2019. He was born in Pickaway County, Ohio on November 22, 1952 to Marcus and Katherine (Kuhn) Watkins. David served his country in the United States Army, retired from M.A.C.I., loved to fish and absolutely loved and cherished his grandchildren.

Survived by his wife of 29 years Shirley (Tingley) Watkins; step daughter Kathy (Jay) Ferrell of London; granddaughter Erika (Bary) Watkinson; great grandchildren Skylar, Spencer, Seann, Syndi, Abbie and Caleb; brother Robert (Teresa) Watkins and family of Mt. Vernon. Preceded in death by his parents, son David, Jr. and stepdaughter Cyndi.

The family invites friends to call at the RADER-LYNCH & DODDS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE on Thursday from 5-7 PM. Graveside service will be held Friday at 11:00 AM in Kirkwood Cemetery with David Vacheresse officiating. Burial will follow. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
