Deborah Jane Sparks

August 24, 1951 — April 26, 2026

London

With hearts anchored in faith and the promise of eternal life, we announce the passing of our beloved Deborah Jane (White) Sparks, who was called home to be with the Lord on April 26, 2026. Born on August 24, 1951, in London, Ohio, she was the cherished daughter of Martin Turner White Jr. and Ellen Mae (Evans) Ferguson.

Deborah was a beacon of light to all who knew her, demonstrating unwavering faith and love throughout her life. A devoted member of the London Apostolic Church, her faith was the foundation upon which she built her relationships, nurturing her family and friends with compassion and kindness. Her love extended beyond her own family, as she welcomed countless "bonus children" into her heart and home, always putting others' needs before her own. She was a passionate gardener, often found tending to her vibrant flowers that reflected her nurturing spirit. Deborah cherished the great outdoors and supported her family's adventures, especially relishing the joyous moments spent at 4H events where her fondness for pigs brought smiles to many.

Deborah’s greatest pride and joy were her family. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Philip Sparks Sr., and their children, Penny (Steve) Willming, Katina (Gary) Baird, Phillip (April) Sparks Jr., and Kellin (T) Sparks. She leaves behind a remarkable legacy of grandchildren—Kaitlyn (Chase), Brandon, Connor, Gracie, Ava, Kamden, Kharissa, Keaton, Caylee, Nicholas, and Hayes—as well as great-grandchildren Vivian and Colston, who will carry her spirit forward. She is also survived by her special friend Nancy Sparks, numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and her two beloved dogs, Remi and Rannie.

Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Cheri Sparks, siblings David and Micky White, and dear grandchildren Phillip Stephen and Allison. Their memories will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Friends and family will gather to honor Deborah’s life at Crosslight Church, located at 101 Shady Ave, London, Ohio, 43140, where visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service, celebrating her extraordinary life, will take place on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 11:00 AM, officiated by Reverend Mike Underhill and Pastor Mark Schroder. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Dennison Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Lynch Family Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses, allowing her memory to live on in a way that reflects Deborah’s generosity and care for others.
