Donald Eugene Puckett

It is with profound sadness that the family of Donald Eugene Puckett announces his passing on May 5, 2024. Born on November 11, 1962, in London, Ohio, Donald was the cherished son of Robert and Francis (Clifton) Puckett.

For 25 years, Donald dedicated his career as a corrections officer at the London Corrections Institute. His passion for fishing, supporting his children and grandchildren at their county fairs, and rooting for his favorite teams, the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Reds, and Dallas Cowboys, brought joy and fulfillment to his life.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved son, Justin Puckett. Donald is also survived by his children, Justin (Bianca) Puckett and Cory (Andrea) Muterspaw; grandchildren, Billy (Megan) Muterspaw, Hunter Puckett, Courtnee Muterspaw, Jayce, Lexi, and Levi Puckett, as well as his great-grandson Michael; siblings: Robin Goddard and David Puckett; Numerous neices, nephews family and friends and loyal companion his dog Benji.

Donald now reunites in eternal peace with his wife, Terry (Muterspaw) Puckett, and his siblings, Leroy Puckett, Rose Grogg, and Craig Puckett. The family humbly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Lynch Family Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.

A memorial gathering honoring Donald's life will be held on Monday, May 13, 2024, at Lynch Family Funeral Home, located at 124 East High Street, London, Ohio 43140, from 5 pm to 7 pm. The family invites friends and well-wishers to join in remembering and celebrating the life of Donald Puckett.
