Evelyn Irene (Gahm) Moore

Evelyn Irene (Gahm) Moore, 93, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 19, 2022. Evelyn was born September 8, 1928, in South Solon, Ohio, the daughter of Elmer and Helen (Garrett) Gahm. She graduated from South Solon High Scholl in 1946. She had attended the Sedalia United Methodist Church, was an accomplished cook and enjoyed cross-stitching. She had been a member of the Sedalia Nellie Counts Eastern Star, and the Worthwhile Club. Evelyn is survived by her children: Steve (Pam) Moore of Urbana; Rose Moore of Columbus; Melanie Moore of Hilliard; grandchildren: Shawn (Rebecca) Moore; Brenden (Laura) Moore; Lyle (Jessica) Brill; Sarah (Adam) Riedmiller; great-grandchildren: Brody Moore, Gavin Moore, Carys Moore, Mattie Moore, Sophia Moore, Aiden Weaver, Zoe Oliphant, Chloee Brill, Cole Beasley, Jazmine Riedmiller, Trenton Riedmiller, Austin Levi; great-great-granddaughter: Willow Brill; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Gene Moore; sister: Janice Daniels. Evelyn’s family would especially like to thank the Carriage Court of Hilliard and Vitas Hospice of Dublin for their excellent care. Friends are invited to call at the Lynch Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 124 E. High St, London, Wednesday, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM with a funeral service to follow, officiated by family friends, Marty Mace and Steve Brandenburg. Interment will follow at the Range Township Cemetery, Sedalia. Memorial contributions may be made to the James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute, Columbus.
