Jeremy Alder, aged 27, passed away on September 8, 2024. Born on October 01, 1996, in Dayton, Ohio, Jeremy grew into a spirited and jovial individual known for his love of motorcycles, Indy Car racing, and playful banter. A proud alumnus of the University of Cincinnati, Jeremy channeled his passion for mechanics into a successful career as a mechanical engineer, where he made significant contributions to various reputable automotive brands. His work was not just a profession but a testament to his dedication and innovative spirit. Outside of his professional life, Jeremy was a fervent enthusiast of motorcycles and Mustangs, which he loved tinkering with in his garage. His hobbies also included playing cornhole and crafting humorous, albeit inappropriate, insults which he wittily shared with his siblings during family gatherings. He is survived by his mother, Virginia Alder (Fortman); older sisters, Kristen Arnold (Ben) and Liz Alder (Jay Bacon); and brother, Josh Alder (Danielle). His grandparents, Ronald and Judith Howard (Livengood), and Dolores Fortman (Litmer), also survive him, alongside his beloved nieces, Addelynn, Emily, and Lydia, and nephews, Keylan, Dylon, and Sam. Jeremy was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Alder, and his grandfather, Jim Fortman. Services to honor Jeremy's life will be held at Lynch Family Funeral Home in London, Ohio, on Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 3-5 pm. The Lynch Family Funeral Home will assist in commemorating Jeremy's vibrant life. His departure leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him, but his spirited legacy and the memories shared will forever resonate with his loved ones.
