Joyce Lee McCafferty passed away peacefully on July 26, 2025, at OSU East Hospital, surrounded by the warmth of her family and cherished memories. Born on January 16, 1950, in London, Ohio, she was a beloved daughter to Paul McClaskie and Florence Cox. A proud graduate of Madison South High School, Class of 1968, Joyce embraced life as a devoted homemaker, nurturing her family with boundless love and support. She found joy and purpose in her active involvement at her church community in London, where she led Sunday school and lent her beautiful voice to the choir, touching the hearts of many. Her laughter echoed through her home as she shared her love for shopping, whether online or in stores, and found delight in dining out with her loved ones. An avid player of mobile games, Joyce's spirit of playfulness was matched only by her generous heart. Her volunteer work at the Madison House reflected her unwavering commitment to helping others, and her creativity shone brightest in the exquisite Christmas wreaths she crafted each holiday season. Joyce was a devoted wife to her husband Fred McCafferty for 56 beautiful years. Together, they built a family that reflects their unconditional love.
