Leila Mae (Mckinney) Near

Leila Mae (McKinney) Near, 88 of London, Ohio went to be with the Lord July 4th, 2021. Leila was born August 19th, 1932, daughter of Clara and William McKinney. She worked at Madison County Hospital, Lazarus, owned and operated the Red Baron Restaurant, and was a farm wife of her late husband Carl (Babe) Near. She is Survived by her sons Roy Near and W.O. (Patty) Near. Daughter Tami Ackley, Son in Law Ronnie Roberts; Grandchildren: Jeff (Samantha) Saxour, Doug (Kathy) Saxour, Angene Davis, Sarah (Chris) Pugh, Jereme (Alessonia) Dill, Alyssa (Jimmy) Wolverton, Cameron Near, Isaiah Near, and Melanie Ackley. Great Grandchildren: Lauryn, Evan, and Annie Saxour, Senna and Riley Davis, Brock and Brody Pugh, Brynlee, Kyndal, Trey, and Stella Wolverton. Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Leila is preceded in death by her parents, husband Carl, son Dougie Near, daughter Leah Beth Roberts, sister Vicki, brothers Bill, Mac (Aggie), and Mike McKinney.

Leila’s family invite friends to call at Lynch Family Funeral Home, 124 East High Street, London, Ohio 43140 Thursday, July 8th from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm where a funeral service will be held Friday July 9th at 11am with Pastor Jody Pickett officiating. An internment service will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery 5549 Mechanicsburg-Catawba Rd, Mechanicsburg, Ohio 43044.
