Linda D. Barnes, 61, of London, died Wednesday, November 27, 2019, in her residence. She was born June 10, 1958 in Columbus, the daughter of Donald E. and Mary (Wise) Wooldridge. Linda was the owner of many businesses, including, Somerford Salon, Amish Meat & Cheese, and Use It Again. She also worked for the state at London Correctional Facility for several years. She drove school buses for London and West Jefferson for 12 years. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Truett “Joe” Barnes; children: Sarah (Keith) Conn; Kelly Barnes; Truett (Christie) Barnes; sister: Brenda (Donald) Lowe; grandchildren: Truett G. Barnes; Reece T. Conn; Pierce J. Conn; Makaylin Barnes; nieces and nephews: Robert Sprouse, Brian Wooldridge, Jamie Connor, Tamara (Nathan) Waugh, Melissa Lowe, and many great nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Mary E. Blake; sister: Donna J. (George) Sprouse; nephew: Timothy A. Wooldridge. The family invites friends to call at the Rader-Lynch & Dodds Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 124 E. High St., London, Sunday, December 1, 2019, from 1-3 PM., where a Celebration Of Life service will follow, with the Reverend Jerry Poff officiating.
