Linda Lou Williams

February 23, 1950 — April 17, 2026

Linda Lou Williams (Fletcher), age 76 of Marblehead, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2026, with her daughter by her side. Born on February 23, 1950, to the late Mary Emma Lou (Gardner) and Bertie Ivan Fletcher in Point Pleasant, West Virginia.

Linda lived a life centered around family, love and connection. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother whose warmth and kindness touched everyone she met.

Linda retired early in 2000 from Big Lots Distribution in Columbus, Ohio, choosing to spend her days living the life she loved alongside her husband near the shores of Lake Erie in Marblehead, Ohio. She later worked many years at Bay Point Resort & Marina, where she enjoyed the beauty of the water each day, met countless new people, and formed many lasting friendships. Linda was much like her mother in that she never met a stranger - she could strike up a conversation with anyone and make them feel like an old friend.

She found her greatest joy in spending time with her family - especially on the beach - and had a deep love for sea turtles, coffee and creative hobbies. Linda enjoyed crafting, including crochet, scrapbooking and diamond art painting, always putting her heart into the things she made.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Edward C. Williams, daughter and son-in-law, Michelle (Jones) and Darryl Crace of London, Ohio, stepsons Edward Williams, Jr. of Columbus, Ohio, Jeffrey Rayburn of Simi Valley, California and Steven Hibbs of West Palm Beach, Florida; and her cherished grandchildren, Dylan (Jamy) Crace of Mt. Sterling, Ohio; Emma Crace of London, Ohio; K.C. (Ashley) Hayes of Grove City, Ohio; Brittany Hayes of Hilliard, Ohio and Mitchell (Emily) Colanero of London, Ohio. She was a proud great-grandmother (Gigi) to Rowan and Sawyer; Anjyl, Charleigh and K.C., Jr.; Odell, Xavier and Jaelynn; Ava, Jackson, Mayze and Deacon. Linda is also survived by her sister, Karen "Sue" Nibert, brother William "Bill" Fletcher, special friend Babs Klacik, and many beloved nieces, nephews, friends, and her extended family at Bay Point, all of whom will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emma Lou and Bertie; daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Martin Colaner; stepdaughters, Cathy, Judy and Patty; her sister, Patricia Mounts; brother-in-law Roger Nibert; sister-in-law Shonda Fletcher; and former husband and father to her children, Charles Jones.

Linda will be remembered for her generous and ornery spirit, her love of conversation and the way she made everyone feel welcome and cared for. Her life was a reflection of love, laughter, friendship and simple joys. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
