Mary Ann (Becker) Haskins

Mary Ann (Becker) Haskins, 88, of London, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2024. She was born on March 25, 1936, to John Walter and Dolores Ivon (Harrington) Becker. A proud graduate of Monroe High School in 1954, Mary wed her cherished husband, Kenneth Haskins, sharing over 68 years of unwavering love. Her dedication led her to a fulfilling 26-year career with General Motors. A survivor of breast cancer, Mary found solace in attending the Madison Health Breast Cancer Survivor Dinner, cherishing these moments of solidarity and hope.

At the heart of her world was her family, reveling in the joy of her grandchildren, family traditions, and the warmth of holidays, with a particular fondness for Christmas. Mary's absence will leave a void impossible to fill; her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Mary is survived by her devoted husband Kenneth and her children: Joan (Pern) Kimbler, James (Yvonne) Haskins, and Joyce (Jay) Kennard. She will forever be remembered by her grandchildren: Christina Kimbler (John Buckley), James Kimbler, Bethe (Jay) Sans, James Haskins Jr., and Grant Kennard. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Richard and Robert Becker, sister Ruth Byerly, and grandson J.C. Kennard III.

The family extends an invitation to all friends and acquaintances to pay their respects at Lynch Family Funeral Home, 124 East High Street, London, Ohio 43140, on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at 11:15 am, at Plumwood Cemetery.

In honor of Mary's memory, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Mona Flax Breast Cancer Endowment Fund in lieu of flowers, an act that would surely bring her comfort in knowing that her legacy continues to support a cause close to her heart. May she rest in eternal peace.
