Mary Margaret (Chenault) Wilson

Mary Margaret (Chenault) Wilson, 93, of London passed away peacefully on September 16, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 25, 1931, in West Jefferson Ohio, Mary was the cherished daughter of William and Sarah Chenault.

Mary dedicated many years to the London City Schools, working in the kitchen and nourishing countless children with care. Alongside her husband and son Steve, she played a pivotal role in organizing the London T Ball program. Her warm hospitality was felt most during holiday gatherings in her home, where she embraced the multicultural friendships formed by her son-in-law on the farm.

Left to honor Mary's memory are her beloved daughter Sheila Evans; devoted sister Freida Roark (Ron); cherished grandchildren Heather Martin, Stephanie (Patrick) Ramey, Miranda (Errick) Thompson, and Adam (Nicole) Wilson; and a host of great-grandchildren: Patrick ( Ashley), Michael (Stephanie), Clayton (Tina), Dalton (Megan), Dylan, Kaleb (Destiny), Jasmine (James), Anthony (Deasia), Mercedes (Jeremy), Michealla (Dom), Errica (Juniel), Noah, and Andrew, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and close friends, notably Max, TK, Mary, and Jackie.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Kenneth E. Wilson of over 60 years, children Steve and Michael, son-in-law James Evans, and siblings Ralph, Betty, Bill, Frank, Kenneth, Gary, and Greg.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Lynch Family Funeral Home, 124 East High Street, London, Ohio 43140, on Monday, September 23, 2024, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, with a memorial service to commence at 5:00 pm. The service will serve as a testimony to Mary's enduring legacy and the cherished memories she leaves behind.

In honor of Mary's kind spirit and selfless dedication, she will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who were fortunate to know her. May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace.
