Mary Ellen (Deyo) Hammond

Mary Ellen Deyo Hammond, 90, of London, died Thursday, September 10, 2020, at the Bluebird Retirement Community, London. Mary was born on October 4, 1929, in Lafayette, Ohio, a daughter of David and Enola Marie (Dunevant) Deyo. She had been a member of the Rebekah Lodge and the Wednesday Night Women Bowling League. She was a member of the Newport Church of Christ in Christian Union. Mary loved watching her grandkids play their sports. She also enjoyed going to the Madison County Fair to watch her kids and grandkids show their livestock. Mary is survived by her children: Kay (David) Manning; Susan (Phil) Eades; grandchildren: Shane (Michelle) Manning; Ashli (Brad) Butin; Aaron (Valerie) Eades; Arica (Chris) Vallery; Kyle and Kenzie Vallery; Meghan and Scott Gammell; Hunter (Erin Patterson) Butin, Saige Butin; Wyatt and Kirstin Eades; Eli and Gracie Gammell; Easton Butin and Rilynne Williamson. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Ishmael T. Hammond; grandson: Logan Manning. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM., Tuesday, September 15, 2020, for immediate family only, at the Paint Township Cemetery, London, with the Reverend Mark Barth officiating.
