Maureen C. Coffey, 75, of Dublin, died peacefully Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at Riverside Methodist Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Maureen was born December 17, 1947, in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of George Edward and Margaret Beatrice (Gilpin) Coffey.
Maureen was a 1965 graduate of London High School. She enjoyed seeing the world and traveling, reading, and cheering on her favorite football team, The Ohio State Buckeyes. Maureen was a woman of service and valued the years she worked for Right to Life Michigan, where she traveled to many marches for life including Washington D.C. Of all the things Maureen enjoyed, her family is what she cherished the most.
Maureen is survived by her children: Courtney (Adam Fontichiaro) Watson and Spencer Watson; Siblings: Patricia (John) Schiering and John (Peggy) Coffey; Nieces and Nephews: Mark Schiering, Christine (Shannon) Newsome, Kimberly (Michael) Bliss, Janet (Rob) Poulin, Michael (Amber) Coffey, and Amelia Hirsch. Sister-in-law: Tracey (John) Sutter. Numerous great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.
Maureen is preceded in death by her Parents; Father of her children: David Watson; Brother-in-law: Arthur Watson.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, July 5, 2023, 11:00 AM at the Saint Patrick Church, 61 South Union Street, London, with Father Patrick Toner officiating. Interment will follow at the Saint Patrick Cemetery, London. Maureen’s funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Lynch Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 124 East High Street, London, Ohio 43140.
