Melanie Sue Moore, 68, of Palm Coast, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2026. Born on July 30, 1957, in Sedalia, Ohio, Melanie lived a life filled with love, kindness, and dedication to her family and passions.
Melanie retired in March 2024 after a fulfilling career of over 28 years at ADP, where she worked in payroll. Her professional life was marked by diligence and commitment, but it was her personal life that truly defined her. Known for her outgoing and sociable nature, Melanie never met a stranger. She had a remarkable ability to connect with people and was cherished for her loving and caring spirit. Her contagious smile could light up a room and instantly put others at ease, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met.
A devoted animal lover, Melanie spent much of her time volunteering as a dog foster and supporting local animal shelters. Her compassion extended beyond animals to the natural world; she found joy in tending to her flower gardens and creating beauty wherever she went. The beach held a special place in her heart, offering her peace and inspiration throughout her life. This is where she spent her last 4 years, just minutes away from Flagler Beach.
Melanie’s beautiful singing voice was another gift she shared with those around her. Whether singing for others or simply enjoying music herself, she brought light and joy through her talent.
She is survived by her son Lyle Brill and his wife Jessica; daughter Sarah Brill and her husband Adam; grandchildren Austin, Cole, Jazmine, Chloee, and Trenton; great-grandchild Willow; two great-grandchildren on the way; and her sister Rose Moore. Melanie was predeceased by her parents Gene and Evelyn Moore and her brother Steve Moore.
Melanie’s warmth and generosity left an indelible mark on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends but fondly remembered for the love she gave so freely.
May Melanie’s memory bring comfort to those who loved her. A Celebration of Life will be held on July 18, 2026, from 01:00 PM to 03:00 PM at Lynch Family Funeral Home 124 E High St. London OH 43140.
