Michael R. Morris

Michael R. Morris, 61, of London, died Sunday, November 26, 2017 in his residence. He was born December 4, 1955 in Columbus to Ernest on Doris (Dillion) Morris. Mike graduated from London High School. During his life he also attended Tolles Tech and Columbus State University and obtained multiple certificates and was recognized for many accomplishments through his career. Mike worked for thirty years at Madison County Departments of Jobs and Family Services, from where he retired. He was an avid fisherman and he loved football, including both the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. His other passion in life were his grandchildren. The love he had for them was a beautiful thing. They were everything to him. Mike is survived by his wife, Robin (Rowe) Morris; children: Jeremy (Jennifer) Morris of Sedalia; Eric Morris (Fiance, Eva Leffel) of London; Jennifer Miller (Fiance, Richard Harrell) of London; his wonderful grandchildren: Iesha Gordon, Zachary White, Paige White, Serenity Morris, Tyler Thomas, Elijah Morris, Alexis, Morgan, and Caralyn Harrell. His siblings: Dave (Chris) Morris of Centerville, Deb (Steve) Carson of Sedalia, Scott (Randy) Morris of Marysville, and Connie Bennett of Plain City. Multiple nieces and nephews and many friends. Brothers-in-law: Chuck (Lisa) Rowe of Plain City; Phillip (Roni) Rowe of Hillirad. He was preceded in death by his: parents; father and mother-in-law: George and Minnie Rowe. The family invite friends to call at the Rader-Lynch & Dodds Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 124 E. High St., London, Friday from 3-5 PM. with a funeral service to follow at 5 PM., with Sandy Cunningham officiating. Cremation to follow.
