Erik Daniel Snyder, 19, of London, died Friday, March 1, 2019, the result of an automobile accident, which also claimed the life of his mother, Kelly C. Snyder. Erik was born on June 17, 1999, in London, Ohio. He was a graduate of St. Patrick School and London High School where he was a two year letterman of the golf team, and a member of the football, basketball, and baseball teams. Erik was a sophomore at Trine University in Angola, Indiana, majoring in golf management. Erik was preceded in death by his grandparents Joseph and Catherine Londergan, and aunt Mavourneen Gruzs. Erik is survived by his father, Daniel J. Snyder; sister Eileen Snyder (Austin Smith); grandparents Robert and Linda Snyder; aunts and uncles Bev and Kevin Londergan, Bridget and Todd Lane, Teresa and Brian Londergan, Lisa and Steve Gruzs, Erin and Tom Morris, Ellen and David Simpson, Colleen and Scott Timms, Laura and Patrick Londergan, Jennifer and Timothy Londergan, Marlene and Todd Snyder. Great aunts and uncles Nancy Snyder, Richard and Patricia Snyder; cousins Gretchen, Matt, Ben, Andy, Julie, Joe, Liam, Kathleen, Casey, Emily, Connor, Kelsey, Craig, Cameron, Alan, Sydney, Haylee, Brady, Colin, Aiden, Jacey, Bryce, Claire, Sienna, Katlyn, Isabella, Ian, Norah, Charlie, Matilda, Rory, Quinn, Meg, JT, and Holly. Visiting hours will be observed at the St. Patrick Parish Center on Friday, March 8 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. with a wake service at 3:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick Church, 61 South Union Street, London, on Saturday, March 9 at 10 a.m. It will be celebrated by Father Kevin Kavanagh. Interment will follow in the St. Patrick Cemetery, London. Services entrusted to RADER-LYNCH & DODDS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE.
