Sarah Marie Roberts

On Sunday, November 29th, 2020, Sarah Marie (Winland) Roberts passed away at the age of 38 years old from a long hard battle with cancer in the comfort of her home. Sarah was born on June 20, 1982, in Moundsville, West Virginia. She has resided in London, Ohio most of her life where she attended and graduated from London high school. On the beautiful day of October 19th, 2013 she married her best friend who she adored, also raising two wonderful bonus children, Kristin and Seth II. Sarah served as a Ladies Auxiliary member of the VFW and American Legion for many years where she gained a lot of friendships. Her crafts were one of a kind and always held a special meaning to every recipient that was blessed by this talent. The relay for life was a big passion of hers long before her own battle where she spent years on the committee. The beach and lake trips with her beloved hubby and her girltribe were something she always looked forward to having in her life. Oh, how we cannot forget her love for the Columbus Blue Jackets and West Virginia Mountaineers. Lastly, Sarah is known for that contagious smile that would light up any room and the big teddy bear heart for everyone to love. Always putting others first especially when it came to all her kiddos, blood, adopted it didn’t matter. Sarah is preceded in death by her baby brother PJ Winland and her beloved fur baby Buford. Survived by her loving husband, Seth, her children, Kristin (Jordan Gifford) Roberts, Seth (Stefani Warner) Roberts II, sister Heather Winland, five grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and close family friends. Calling hours will be held at Rader-Lynch & Dodds Funeral Home in London, Ohio Thursday, December 3, 2020, from 4 pm-7 pm. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 4, 2020, starting at 11 am with Pastor Tyrone Artis officiating. Burial services will take place at Somerford Township Cemetery. In honor of Sarah, donations can be made to Nationwide Children's Hospital Oncology floor playroom. Donations may be mailed to the Nationwide Children's Hospital Foundation, P.O.
