London

Patricia “Pat” (Lecinski) Gallimore, a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, will be remembered fondly by all who knew her. Patricia, age 85, passed away on July 27, 2025, leaving an indelible mark on the lives she touched throughout her remarkable journey. Born on March 17, 1940, in Lorain, Ohio, she was the cherished daughter of Leo and Julia Lecinski. Pat graduated from Lorain High School in 1958 and embarked on an adventurous career as an airline stewardess. Her passion for travel allowed her to explore the world, and she relished the experiences of sharing an apartment with fellow stewardesses, forging friendships that would last a lifetime. After years of exploring the skies, she devoted herself wholeheartedly to her family, becoming a nurturing homemaker. For over 49 years, Pat served as an advisor for the Jumpers and Flyer 4H club, leaving a legacy that will not soon be forgotten. Her dedication to mentoring young minds and nurturing their talents impacted the lives of thousands of children, teaching them not only the skills of agriculture and animal care but also invaluable lessons of kindness, responsibility, and perseverance. In honor of her late husband, David Gallimore, who served the Madison County Fair for 28 years, Pat began sponsoring and awarding the Grand Showman of Showmen Trophy, a testament to her unwavering support for the fair and its programs. Pat is survived by her beloved son, Tracy Drummond, and her grandchildren, Lauryn (Miles) Cooper, Angus Drummond, and Drew Gallimore, along with her great-grandchildren, Hallie and Eliza Cooper. She leaves behind numerous extended family members, dear friends, and countless 4H participants whose lives she enriched with her warmth and guidance. In addition to her parents and husband of 34 years, David Gallimore, Pat is preceded in death by her cherished mother-in-law, Bernice “Scoop” Gallimore. The family will invite friends to celebrate Pat’s life at the Lynch Family Funeral Home, 124 East High Street, London, Ohio 43140, on the evening of Friday, August 1, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the same location, followed by interment at Plumwood Cemetery. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the first responders from Central Township Fire Department and Madison County EMS for the exceptional care they provided to Pat.
