Patricia Pauline (Delaney) Gale

Patricia Pauline Gale, 64, of London, passed away Friday, October 7, 2022, at Doctors West Hospital surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born October 17, 1957, in Vincennes, Indiana, the daughter of Benjamin and Anne (Frank) Delaney.

Patricia graduated from Parma High School. She obtained a bachelor’s degree at The Ohio State University in journalism and had worked as a news reporter. She owned a bakery for over 35 years. She loved ballroom dancing, movies, walking, chocolate, and her dog Sugar Bear.

She is survived by her children: Steve (Renata) Gale, Justin (Allison) Gale, and Haley Hughes; Siblings: Benjamin Delaney, Steven Delaney, Chris Delaney, Mark Delaney,  and Dee Delaney; Grandchildren: Lily, Griffin, Victoria, Valentin, and Vincent; Significant other: Mike Hoffman; Close friends: Jeanne Sweazey and Theresa Richards; Father and mother-in-law Ken and Marie Hughes; Numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents and late husband Keith Hughes.

The family invites friends to call at the Lynch Family Funeral Home, 124 East High Street, London, Ohio 43140, Monday, October 10, 2022, at 9am with a 10am funeral service, officiated by Tim Swanson, to follow. Interment will immediately follow at Plumwood Cemetery.
