Patricia Lou 'Pat' (Norris) Groves

Patricia Lou Groves, 75, of London, died Thursday, December 9, 2021, at Madison Health, London. Pat was born July 1, 1946, in Hilliard, Ohio, a daughter of Carl M. and Marilyn J. (Stamper) Norris. She graduated from Hilliard High School in 1964. She was a lifetime member of the American Legion London, Post 105, and past women's auxiliary president, also the Eagles Aerie #950, Auxiliary, London. Pat loved camping, fishing, and boating with their friends and family at lake Erie. She was an avid bowler, as she was a member of the Liberty Lounge Gals, in the Tuesday Night Friendship League. She also was a tremendous cook who loved to cook for the ‘masses’. Often on Saturdays, she was with families and friends, rooting on her beloved Buckeyes. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Robert Lee Groves, whom she married March 11, 1964; sons: Robert W. (Jaimee) Groves of Cincinnati; Carl R. Groves of London; Jerry L. (Deanna) Of Hudson, Florida; sister: Lana Wirth of Iowa; brother: Brian (Edna) Norris of Georgia; grandchildren: Tanner Groves, Brandon Duerler, Kirsten (Robert) Zofchak; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Pat was preceded in death by her parents; brother: Brad Norris; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Jack and Marilyn Groves; brother-in-law: Garry Groves; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Pauline and Howard Groves. The family invited friends to call at the Lynch Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 124 E. High St, London, Monday, December 13, 2021, from 4-6 PM. A short service will be held at 5:30 PM.
