Patricia Ann (Shy) Shy

Patricia Ann Shy, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away on February 22, 2024 in London, Ohio. She was born on December 22, 1952 in Zanesville, Ohio to Mary Marjorie Jacobs (nee Muncie) and Joseph Shy. She is survived by her daughter Rita (John) Dunagan and cherished grandson Drew Abney (Wendy Bolick). Patricia also leaves behind her sister-in-law Candy Shy, niece Dana Marquart, nephews Randy Shy, Jonathan (Jody) Shy and Ahren Bohanan, and her best friend Karen Alkire. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother David Shy, and sister Mary Velinda (Lindy) Bohanan. Patty will be remembered most for her kindness and compassion towards others. She brought joy to all who knew her and will be dearly missed. She insisted on no fuss, simply to be laid to rest with her mother and brother.
