Phyllis Joan Hunter

Phyllis Joan Hunter, 85, of London, died Friday, May 7, 2021, at the Bluebird Retirement Community, London. Phyllis was born February 7, 1936, in London, Ohio, a daughter of Gorman and Fannie (Reardon) Clark. She had been a member of the First United Methodist Church, London since 1949, where she and Ted could always be seen volunteering at the beloved Baked Steak Dinner. She had a love for her community and also was an avid golfer. Her love for the Lord meant everything to her. She was blessed to be able to see all of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren this past week. She is survived by her husband: Ted Hunter; children: Sue (Craig) Pass of Amherst, Ohio; Nan (Kim) Hunter of Plain City, Ohio; Jeff (Michelle) Hunter of London; sister: Madeline Duffey of London, Ohio; grandchildren: Ryan Ladd, Courtney (Brandon) Brock, Chase Hunter, Noah Hunter, Brody Hunter, Addison Hunter, Chad (Krystle) Pass, Cayla (Josh) Riedy, Wesley Pass; great-grandchildren: Leah Brock, Olivia Brock, Alexa Brock, Chloe Pass, Beau Riedy; sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Pat and Dick Snyder; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Dick and Marcia Hunter; numerous nieces and nephews and cousins and many, many friends. The family invites friends to call at the First United Methodist Church, 52 N. Main St, London, on Tuesday May 11th from 4-6 PM. with a funeral service to follow at 6 PM. with the Reverend Dave Leckrone officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Phyllis’s memory to the First United Methodist Church, London, or Loving Care Hospice, 56, S. Oak St., London.
