Robert E. Miller

Robert E. Miller, 88, of London, OH., died Sunday, October 4, 2020, at his residence. He was born February 18, 1932, in Madison County, OH.,  the son of Shake and Ivory (Griffith) Miller. Bob was a 1950 graduate from Midway High School. After high school, Bob joined the United States Air Force and served four proud years. After his return from the Air Force, he worked at Simmons Mattress Company and Battelle Memorial. Bob farmed for many years with his father-in-law and then served as manager of Madison Landmark and then retired from Champaign Landmark. After that, he took a part-time job at his son’s business, MRC Sales and Service, INC., in which he worked full-time for 16 years. He enjoyed ‘loafing’ with his grandchildren and taking car trips with his wife, Sarah. Survivors include his son Mike (Terri) Miller of London, OH.; Renee Miller of Galloway, OH.; grandchildren: Cara (Mark) Rasor of Galloway, OH.; Brian (Kara) Miller of London, OH.; great-grandchildren: Alison and Brady Rasor; Liam, Connor, and Emily Miller; Nieces and nephews and many friends. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of 66 years, Sarah; brothers: Benny Miller, Mitch Miller, and infant brother, Dencil Miller. The family invites friends to call at the Rader-Lynch & Dodds Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 124 E. High St., London, OH.,  Friday, October 9, 2020, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM., with a funeral service to follow, with Bill Henry officiating. Interment service will follow at Plumwood Cemetery.
