Ronald Dean Gordon

Ronald Dean Gordon, age 84, of London, Ohio gained his wings on March 27, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Dean was born in Plain City, Ohio on August 21, 1939, to Harvey and Dorothea (Smith) Gordon. He was formerly employed for 36 years at Fisher Cast Steel Products Inc. in West Jefferson, Ohio. Dean Loved his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He loved to camp, enjoyed a good game of horseshoe, and loved to mow.

He is survived by his daughters: Rhonda (Donald) Detty of Chillicothe, Ohio, Deana (Peter) Norwich of Marengo, Ohio, Caryn (Bruce) Ratliff of London, Ohio, Cindy (Bobby) Bevens of Mt. Sterling, Ohio; Grandchildren: Lisa (Michael) Shaw, Dean Annon, Sean (Courtney) Jackson, Alesha Jackson, Jacob Norwich, Eddie (Tyler) Norwich, Randy Norwich, Tiffany (Josh) Braithwaite, Rachel Bevens, and Kaitlynn Bishop; Great grandchildren: Riley, Bristol, Gatlin, Parker, Josie, Charlotte, Levi, Colton, Oakley, and Waylon; Several step grandchildren; Sister: Gladys Powers; Brother: George Gordon; Brother in Law: John Byerly; Sister in law: Mert Byerly; Numerous nieces and nephews.

Dean is preceded in death by his wife of 61 years Jennie Florence (Balsiger) Gordon; his parents; mother and father-in-law: Carl and Florence Byerly; Brothers: Donald, Roger, and Bill Gordon; Several brother and sisters in law.

The family invites friends to call at Lynch Family Funeral Home on Monday, April 1, 2024, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm, with the funeral service to follow at 11:00am, on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at Lynch Family Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Rick Clos and Uncle Rodney Bennett. Interment to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
