Ronald W. Smith

Ronald W. Smith, 62 of London, died Sunday, January 9, 2022, at Madison Health, London. Ron was born May 6, 1959, in Columbus, Ohio, a son of Bill Stinson and Phyllis Mae (Knight) Boberg. He graduated from Hillsboro High School and proudly served as a member of the United States Army. Ron was an avid fisherman, hunter, with duck hunting being his favorite. He also enjoyed woodworking, and working on, and building cars, which he raced on occasion. His most favorite past time was to be able to spend time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years: Mary Helen Smith; children: Dawn Ward of London; James (Amber) Neu of Tennessee; Jeremy  Ward of London; brother: Michael (Louann) Smith of Plain City; grandchildren: Cameron Ward, Damian Ward, Julian Ward, and River Hull. Nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother: Daniel Lynn Stinson; maternal grandparents: Walter Clovis Knight and Blanche M. Knight. The family invites friends to call at the Lynch Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 128 East High Street, London, Friday, January 14, 2022, from 1-2 PM, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM, with Michael Smith officiating.
