Rosalee Markley

Rosalee Markley passed to her heavenly home on September 26, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving behind cherished memories to all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Born on October 10, 1953, to Harold “Ted” and Rosemary (VanScoy) Markley in Springfield, Ohio, Rosalee led a life filled with dedication and kindness. After graduating from Northeastern High School in 1971, she embarked on a successful career as an executive secretary at Wright Patt Air Force Base. She cherished her time attending the Springfield First Church of the Nazerene. Her unwavering commitment and talents left a lasting impact on all those she encountered.

Rosalee is survived by her father, Ted, devoted brother, Jim (Lana) Markley, along with her nieces and nephews, Jacob, Holly, and Daniel. She was also the loving grandmother of Terra, Ysabelle, Gwendolyn, and Kierstan Glancy. She is preceded in death by her mother Rosemary.

To honor and celebrate the life of Rosalee Markley, funeral services will be held at Lynch Family Funeral Home, located at 124 East High Street, London, Ohio 43140, on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. Visitation will be held from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. The funeral ceremony will commence following the visitation hours, and Interment will take place at Somerford Cemetery.
