Roy L. Hatfield, 81, of London, died Tuesday, March 30, 2021, in his residence. Roy was born March 4, 1940, in Pike County, Kentucky, the son of Bert and Thelma (McDowell) Hatfield. He had retired from General Motors after 32 years of employment. He also worked at London Florist, K Mart for 15 years. He also served as pastor at the Gospel Tabernacle Church, London. Roy is survived by his loving wife, June Hatfield; stepdaughter: Tammy (Jim) Holley of Ashtabula; stepson: Charles (Krisma) Long of Florida; daughter-in-law: Kendra Hatfield of London; brother: Bert Hatfield Of London; grandchildren: Tyler (Vanessa) Hatfield of Hilliard; Lindsey (Chuck) Smith of Orient; Taylor (Winston) Smith of London; Theren (Abbey) Hatfield and Joel (Josey) Hatfield, all of London; step-grandchildren: Kaitlynn Holley, Anna Holley, and Nolan Holley, all of Ashtabula; great-grandchildren: Blake Hatfield; McKenzie and Charles Smith; Winston Smith Jr: numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; First wife: Barbara; son: Steven. Roy’s family invites friends to call at the Lynch Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 124 E. High St. London, Monday, April 5, 2021, from 11:00 AM until 1;00 PM, with a funeral service to follow with Reverend Kenny Smith officiating.
