Sandra "Sandy" L. Johnson

High St, London, Thursday, April 1, 2021, which is the one year anniversary of when Sandy passed away, from 5-8 PM, with a memorial service to follow, at 8 PM. Sandra “Sandy” L. Johnson, 78 of London, loving wife, mom, grandmother, and great grandmother, who thought the world of her family, died Wednesday, April 1, 2020, in The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She was born in London, Ohio on March 18, 1942, a daughter of Everett and Waveline (Miller) Groves. Sandy graduated from London High School in 1961 and retired from GM after 30 years of service.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 59 years, Leonard; daughter Candice “Candy” (Ron) Hofacer of Columbus; son Randy (Karen) Johnson of South Charleston; grandchildren Stephanie (Mike) Burianek, Madalyn (Matt Fonderist) Johnson, Amanda Sanders, Derek Sanders, and Sandy Eden; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Sandy is preceded in death by her parents, sister Sharon Crace, brother David Groves and infant brother Donald Groves.

Following Sandy’s wishes, there will be no immediate service. Cremation will take place. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. The family has entrusted the RADER-LYNCH & DODDS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE. Condolences may be sent to www.lynchfamilyfuneralhome.com.
