Scott Robert Barker

Scott Robert Barker, 45 of London, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 6, 2020. Scott was born October 29, 1974, in Hollywood, Florida, a son of John D. and Sandra (Byers) Barker. He was a 1994 Graduate of Jonathan Alder/Tolles Technical Center. He worked as a service tech for A&E. Scott was very ‘hands-on’ and loved to tinker. Before he could talk he could take a transistor radio apart and put it back together again. He loved all types of music and even did some DJ work on a couple of occasions. He loved his family and missed his dad every single day since his passing. Scott gave his heart to Jesus in April 2017. He enjoyed cruising the ocean with his family and detailing his car. Scott is survived by his wife, Sarah Barker; son: Cory (Morgan) Takacs: mother: Sandra Barker; brother Adam (Kimberly) Barker; granddaughter: Lillianna Takacs; mother-in-law: Myrtle Bates; aunt: Betty Roberts; cousin: Jason Roberts; uncle: Tom Barker; Scott dearly loved his Fur Babies: Layla, Gizmo, Lucy and Chunky Monkey. He was preceded in death by his father: John; paternal grandparents: Thomas Clay and Garnett Barker; Maternal Grandparents: Gene and Virginia Paul; Elwood and Wilma Lamm. The family invites family and friends to celebrate Scott at the Rader-Lynch & Dodds Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 124 E. High St., London, Tuesday, October 13, 2020, from 5-7 PM., with a Celebration of Life Service to follow.
