Sean Sabulsky, 17, of London, Ohio was made new on May 12, 2024, when he ran into the Lord’s arms after a courageous 4-year battle with cancer. He was surrounded by family and friends who stayed by his side until he went home to Glory.
Sean was well known for his infectious smile and dimples that would melt any heart. Throughout his fearless battle with cancer, he held strong in his faith in Jesus who was his firm foundation. He enjoyed being with his family and friends, making people laugh, playing basketball and baseball, golfing and attending any sporting event that he had the opportunity to.
He was selfless and considerate- even when he was in pain he was worried about others before himself. He fearlessly fought and never wavered in his faith even during the toughest part of the battle. His faith, strength, and perseverance inspired so many. He loved the Lord, his family, his friends, and his SeanStrong community. He taught us how to live life to the fullest regardless of what it threw at us. He brought so many to their knees in prayer and helped open up the communication between God and so many. Because he was such a genuine person, people felt comfortable being themselves around him and he had a way of getting everyone to find common ground and agree to work together to have fun.
One of Buddy’s proudest moments was when he became an uncle. He loved Nolan and Scarlett endlessly and always ensured candy was on hand and he wasn’t afraid to watch and sing Frozen when asked. He also took pride in being the best little brother to Taylor and Jennifer who watched him fight this battle with such grace.
His legacy will live on through those he touched throughout his journey. He left a mark on so many and the void is palatable.
Sean loved giving back so in lieu of flowers donations can be made to one of the following foundations that blessed our family over the last four years.
