Sheryll Cameron Green

Sheryll Cameron Green, age 84, of London, Ohio passed away peacefully on July 4, 2022 at Marysville Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his wife and two children. He was born in Springfield, Ohio on April 19, 1938, to (and preceded in death by) his parents Walter Cameron and Verona Clide Green. Sheryll (aka “Paw”) is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Alice (Fauver) Green, brother Shelton (Kathy) Green, children Tim (Julie) Green, Christine (Damion) Manns, grandchildren Dylan, Joel, Calista, Kambree, Sabella and Dorian, and many nephews and nieces. Sheryll graduated from London High School in 1956.

He served in the Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve. He retired from Battelle Memorial Institute where he worked in the field of metallurgical engineering. At Battelle, he was recognized twice as a distinguished inventor and named on multiple patents. Sheryll and Alice enjoyed traveling in their motorhome and have visited many national parks and dozens of states. They have also enjoyed gardening together and taking care of their land in London, which was a part of Sheryll and his brother’s childhood farm and apple orchard. He will be missed so very much.

The family invites friends to call at the Lynch Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 124 E. High Street, London, Monday, July 11, 2022, from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM., with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 6:00 PM.
