Stephen Edward Hackett

Stephen E. Hackett, of London, passed away on September 22, 2026. He was born on November 20, 1951, the son of the late Paul and Helen (Kavaney) Hackett.

A lifelong member of the London community, Stephen was a proud graduate of London High School, Class of 1970. Following graduation, he continued his education at Bowling Green State University before beginning what would become a long and dedicated career with Brillo. Stephen started on the assembly line and, through years of hard work and commitment, worked his way into management. He retired after 30 years of service, leaving behind a career marked by dedication and perseverance.

Away from work, Stephen found happiness in the simple things in life. He especially enjoyed gardening and tending to his flowers, taking pride in watching the things he carefully nurtured grow and bloom.

He is survived by his sisters, Susan Ott, Diane Pickens, and Carol White; his nieces and nephews, Peter and Andy Wolf, Jennifer, Lori, and Matt Nixon, Emily, Molly, Jared, Lindsay, and Adam Pickens, and Clair Hackett; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; and his special friends, Jane Yoder and Patty Evans.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Helen Hackett; his sisters, Linda Wolf and Julie Hackett; and his son, Trevor Hackett, whose memory remained an important part of Stephen's life.
