Theresa Ann (Clifton) Turvy, a cherished mother and beloved friend, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2026, at the age of 72. Born on January 26, 1954, in Columbus, Ohio, she was the daughter of Gloria (Anders) Clifton and an indelible presence in the lives of those who knew her.
A proud 1972 graduate of London High School, Teri dedicated her life to the service of others, spending an incredible 50 years at Madison County Hospital, now known as Madison Health. Her journey there took her through various roles, from patient care to central scheduling, where her unwavering compassion touched countless lives. Teri was known not only for her commitment to healthcare but also for her generous spirit, as she actively volunteered in her community and church, often serving hearty Thanksgiving meals at the local food pantry.
Teri’s strong faith laid the foundation for a life filled with love and kindness. Above all, she treasured her time with her family, especially her son, Josh (Emily) Turvy, and her beloved grandchildren, Mason and Julia Turvy. Teri had an infectious joy for life, whether she was doting on her dog, reminiscing about her favorite Elvis songs, or sharing her vibrant personality with those around her.
She is survived by her son, Josh (Emily), her brother Keith Clifton, and her grandchildren, Mason and Julia, in addition to numerous aunts, uncles, special friends Nena and Barb, and many coworkers from Madison Health who became like family to her. Teri is preceded in death by her mother, Gloria.
