Terry Lee Byerly

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Terry Lee Byerly, who departed this life on September 29, 2026, in London, Ohio. Born on August 5, 1965, Terry was the cherished son of Harold and Margaret (Hayslip) Byerly. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.

Terry deeply valued the time spent with his loved ones. He proudly shared 23 years of loving companionship with his wife, Wanda Byerly. Together, they created a warm and welcoming home filled with joy, laughter, and a shared love for good food and great company. Terry’s passion for cooking shone through during family gatherings, where he delighted others with his culinary talents.

A lover of the great outdoors, Terry found solace in fishing and nurturing his beloved garden. He could often be found enjoying the simple pleasures of life, whether sitting by a warm bonfire or watching his beloved Atlanta Falcons and Ohio State Buckeyes. His faithful cat, Mikey, was a constant companion, and Terry's playful spirit resonated with his friends and family alike.

Terry is survived by his son, Terry (Ashley) Johnson; siblings Virginia, Harold, Mary (Jeff), Cindy (Paul), Perry, Marylyn (Bruce), Debbie (Patrick), Randy, and Bobby; granddaughters Taylor Golden and Leah Johnson; sister-in-law Theresa Mayabb; special friend Cindy Mayabb; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and a large circle of close friends who will miss him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents and nephews Robert and Eric Byerly, whose memory will remain intertwined with the love that surrounds Terry.
