Todd John Osborne

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Todd John Osborne, beloved son, father, and friend. Todd, 48, passed away on September 8, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born on April 13, 1976, to John Osborne and Cynthia Barksdale,Todd has touched the lives of many with his warm spirit and tireless work ethic.

A passionate soccer player since his high school days at Upper Arlington, Todd's talents on the field paved the way for an illustrious career that saw him represent the USA National Soccer team and excel at Wittenberg University. In addition to his sporting achievements, Todd was a dedicated entrepreneur, owning and operating his own construction company, leaving behind a legacy of craftsmanship and dedication across Ohio.

Todd found joy in simple pleasures, from fishing and boating to attending country concerts and cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes. His love for his family shone brightly in all that he did, and he cherished moments spent with his children and friends. Raised by his loving step parents Fortunato & Renee Merullo.

Todd is survived by the love of his life, Ginny Whitt; his children: Luke (Alison) Osborne, Brenden Osborne, Camden Osborne, Braylon Carpenter, Kierstyn Carpenter, Dominic (Caitlin) Parks, and Kaden Whitt; sister: Chelsea; brother: Fortunato Merullo; cousin and best friend Cameron Osborne; his beloved dogs Bo and Nikita. Todd's memory will also be cherished by his many more relatives, friends, and his wider community.

He is preceded in death by his parents; grandparents: Pasquale and Philomena Merullo; Uncles: Felix Merullo II and Michael Merullo.

A celebration of Todd's life will be held at Lynch Family Funeral Home, 124 East High Street, London, Ohio 43140, on Sunday, September 15, 2024, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. Join us as we gather to honor Todd's memory, share stories, and offer our heartfelt condolences to his family. May his legacy of hard work, love, and laughter live on in all who knew him.
