William “Ricky” Carmeans, 65, of London, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s hospital. William was born at Good Samaritan in Dayton, Ohio on June 24, 1959. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Willie Harden Carmeans and Doris Jean Carmeans.
Ricky’s excitement for thunderstorms and balloons popping were known by anyone nearby, throughout his laughing and excited, shaking body. He enjoyed watching Spongebob as well as hanging onto balloons, all day every day. He loved talking about space and camps. His favorite thing most of all, was being outside and sitting in the sunshine.
Ricky met many friends through his time at Matco dayhab services. He attended Matco for many years and was able to leave such an impact on those who served him there.
To the people at Oakwood Meadows, thank you for taking such great care of Ricky and giving him a happy and safe home to have all these years. Ricky never complained and had zero wrinkles to show his care free lifestyle and attitude.
Ricky will be deeply missed by all CRSI staff, his housemates and anyone who were lucky enough to know and love Ricky.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, at Lynch Family Funeral Home, 124 East High Street, London, Ohio 43140.
