Dorothy A. (Phlipot) Alt, 85, passed away suddenly on Friday, October 22,2021 in London, Ohio. She was born February 15, 1936, in Paulding, Ohio the daughter of the late Raymond and Hazel (Copsey) Phlipot.
She was a member of Saint Patrick Church of London and a member of Altar Rosary Society. Was a former member of Saint Matthew Church of Gahanna and Saint Michael Church of Findlay.
She retired after many years from Kmart in Gahanna. She was a member of the Senior Center and enjoyed going on their trips and out to eat. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren especially at holiday gatherings.
She is survived by children, Kathy J. (Brad) Roynon of Findlay, Douglas A. (Susan) Alt of West Jefferson, Cynthia M. (Steve) Bostwick of Cincinnati; grandchildren, Taylor (Breezi) Roynon, Mallory Roynon, Westley (Jenna) Roynon, Daniel (Mary Kate) Alt, Justin (Megan) Alt, Ariana, Vaughn, Natasha, and Vera Bostwick; great grandchildren, Sadie and Noah Alt and Carter Roynon; and sister Laura Pease of Paulding, Ohio: numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, William (Bill) Alt in 2011; brothers, Howard, Earl, Harold, and Jerry Phlipot; sisters, Ruth Schneider, and Mabel Phlipot; half-brother Lawrence Phlipot; half-sisters, Helen Coil and Christine Laker; Infant brother Terry Phlipot; grandson Brian Roynon.

The family invites friends to call at the Saint Patrick Parish Center, 61 S. Union Street, London, Tuesday, October 26, 2021, from 10-11am with a mass of Christian Burial to follow at Saint Patrick Church, 61 S. Union Street, with Father Michael Hinterschied officiating. Interment service will be at the Saint Mary Cemetery, Leipsic, Ohio, 2:30pm. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Lynch Family Funeral Home, 124 E. High Street, London.
