Dorothy (Robison) Rolfes

Dorothy Rolfes of London, passed away on September 25, 2023, at the Madison House in London. She was born January 31, 1945, to John C. and Mildred A Robison. Dorothy attended Saint Mary’s High School where she graduated in 1963. Dorothy worked as a special needs assistant in the Jefferson Local School District and later became a photographer and writer for the Madison Messenger. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jim, and brother and sister-in-law Jerry (Janet) Rolfes. Dorothy is survived by her son, John (Kami) Rolfes and James Rolfes Jr. Grandchildren, Jennifer Rolfes (Whitney), Racheal Rolfes, John Rolfes Jr, Joseph Rolfes, and Elizabeth (Ryan) Anderson. Great-grandchildren, Jayden, Xander, Adler, Hayden, Ashton, Trenton, Chad Jr, Haven, Emmalyn, and Avery. Also surving is her sister Roseann (Mike) Weitlauf. Brother Ronald (Jean) Robison. Sisters-in-law, Margaret and Holly Rolfes. A mass of the deceased will be celebrated Friday, October 20, 2023, 11:00 am, at Saint Patrick Church, London, with Father Anthony Dinovo officiating. There will be no calling hours. Her inurnment will be at the Gates of Heaven Cemetery, Cincinnati, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Madison House, London, or the Madison County Senior Center, London. Dorothy’s funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Lynch Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 124 E. High St, London, Ohio.
