Elizabeth Grace "Libby" Brandenburg, 81 of London died Tuesday July 2, 2019 in The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. She was born in Madison County June 16, 1938 to Edmund S. and Ethel A. (Schwartz) Sexton. Libby graduated from London High School, was a devoted lifetime member of Saint Patrick Catholic Church and the Altar & Rosary Society, she also belonged to the Catholic Ladies of Columbia. She adored her grandchildren, was devoted to her family and friends and loved to travel with anybody, anywhere.

Survived by her husband of almost 62 years Gene Arthur Brandenburg, I; daughter Carmalena (Mike) Young of London, son: Darryl Dwayne Brandenburg; grandchildren Brian Dwayne Reinhart, Beau (Rachel), Drew and Cole Brandenburg, Nicholas, Chandler and Caydynn Young. Libby was looking forward to the birth of her great granddaughter Jocelyn Grace. Sisters and brothers Marilyn (Merle) Issacs of Tennessee, Eugene (Darlene) Sexton of London, Leo Sexton of London, Dora Kovac of Florida, Pat Sexton of London, Ethel Sexton of Columbus and John (Geneva) Sexton of Tennessee. Special God niece Debbie Bartowiack, dear friends Joanne and Sissy Wiseman, Irma Arbogast, Winnie Young, Lisa Dulin, Dorothy Henry, Julie Walker, and Bill and Betty Young. Preceded in death by her parents, son Gene Arthur Brandenburg, II, grandson Gabriel Michael Young and granddaughter Haley Kay Brandenburg, sisters, Carilyn Jean Miller, Leah Ann Raub, brother, James Sexton.

The family invites friends to call at the St. Patrick Parish Center on Tuesday July 9th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Mass will be celebrated following in St. Patrick Catholic Church, with Father Michael Hinterschied officiating. Burial will be held at a later date in St. Patrick Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Patrick Altar & Rosary Society. Condolences to www.rldfh.com. The family has entrusted the RADER-LYNCH & DODDS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE.
