James Edward Beatty

James Edward Beatty, 67, of London, died Monday, January 2, 2023, at The Laurels of West Columbus. James was born August 23, 1955, in Washington Courthouse, Ohio, the son of Paul Edward and Ellen Lucille (Woods) Beatty.

James was a 1973 graduate of Madison Plains High School. He retired after many years from CRC in Orient Ohio. He was a talented woodworker building unique flag boxes and one-of-a-kind furniture pieces. His son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren were the true light of his life.

James is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Mary Beatty; son: Mitchell (Lydia) Beatty; Siblings: Ken (Betty Jo) Beatty, Gary Beatty, and Betty Ganan; Grandchildren: Mason and Leela Beatty; Sister- in- law: Luann (John) Dulin; Numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Siblings: Don Beatty and Wilma Wilson; Father and Mother-in-law: Bob and Jean Willis; Brothers-in- law: Bob Willis Jr. and Roger Willis; Sister- in- law: Dee Schultz.

The family invites friends to call at the Lynch Family Funeral Home, 124 East High Street, London, Ohio 43140, on Thursday, January 5, 2023, from 5:00pm- 8:00pm where a funeral will be officiated by Pastor Mike Hodge on Friday, January 6, 2023, at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Madison Mills Cemetery.
