Lewis Curtis McCoy Jr. 72, of Dublin, died Saturday, March 6, 2021, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. He was born February 10, 1949, in Livermore, Kentucky, a son of Lewis C. and Lucille (Davis) McCoy Sr. He graduated from Madison South in 1968. He then entered the United States Army Military Police, Basic Training, Fort Gordon, Georgia. He served in the Theatre of Viet Nam, Military Police in Bang Kok, Thailand. He enjoyed fishing, was the consummate handyman, and was a collector of antiques. Survivors include sons: Joel McCoy and Ben McCoy, both of London; siblings: Kay McCoy Burdon of Owensboro, Kentucky; Diane McCoy of Lewisport, Kentucky; Patti (McCoy) Case and George McCoy, both of Livermore, Kentucky; Terri (Jeff) Jeffers of Hartford, Kentucky; grandchildren: Aiden Robert McCoy, Jack David McCoy, Grant Nathan McCoy, Kate Elizabeth McCoy; Girlfriend of 20 years, Ethel Burgoon; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother: Michael Wayne McCoy; William Henry McCoy Sr. Memorial contribution may be made to the American Legion Post #105, London.
